Pour yourself a cup of ambition because today is September 25 (9/25), and we are celebrating the inaugural, global Dolly Parton Day!
As a clever nod to her iconic working anthem "9 to 5," this day holds extra meaning this year as we honor the incredible life, music, and philanthropy of the late country legend. Beyond her unforgettable sparkle and rhinestones, Dolly’s true magic was her deep love for education, literacy, and children through her Imagination Library.

Thank you to all of our fabulous students and staff who participated today!

Our first Shining Star of the 2026-2027 school year was awarded to Ms. Parham from Ms. K.
She says, "This person is relatively new to Moses. I used to see this person daily, and now it’s more like weekly. Still though, I see that this person looks cute daily, always has a smile, and cares about her team members and students. According to this person's team, they are amazing. This teacher plans lessons that are outside of the box, collabs frequently, doesn’t settle, is working so hard on her gifted certification, and is the GO TO person for any and everything."

Last week’s student of the week was nominated by Mr. Reid:

He says, “This young lady has an infectious smile and personality that brightens her peers and staff every day. She carries herself with dignity, respect and class. She has so much academic and social potential. She can be reserved, but under that persona is a talented and kind-hearted, caring student.

Congratulations to this week’s student of the week,

8th grader, Vansiha Yuvarani

WAY TO GO! WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!

Last week's staff shoutout!

Ms. Cartwright would like to recognize Dr. Wilcox:

She says, “Dr. Wilcox is always willing to step in and help anyone. He is our tech guy in 8th grade and if we can't figure something out technology related, it is always "Go ask Wilcox." Shoutout to him for always being a team player!”

Mrs. Kalman’s ELA students participated in a scored discussion in the media center. Students debated if technology is helpful or harmful to society. Students used textual evidence to support their claims and did a fabulous job!
