Members of the Lamplighter Class of 2022, who are now beginning their high school experience, recently gathered for a Reunion on campus. Alumni reconnected with old classmates, shared memories, explored the new facilities, visited with former teachers, and met our new Catherine M. Rose Head of School Michael Johnson, PhD.

First Hootenanny of the year!

Students, faculty, and staff gathered today for one of Lamplighter’s most beloved traditions—a joyful time to come together, sing favorite songs, and celebrate our community.

Our newest faculty and staff members also had a chance to introduce themselves, sharing a special prop that represented one of their favorite hobbies or interests. It was a fun way to get to know the newest members of our Lamplighter family!

Lamplighter’s newest members of the Alumni Association returned to campus for a special gathering on Sunday!

Together with their parents, members of the Class of 2026 returned to pick up their yearbooks, reconnect with classmates as they begin their middle school journeys, and unveil a special new mural on campus.

Located above the balcony of Cook Gym, the mural features a charming farm scene with Lamplighter’s iconic LPA Barn and animals. Adding a personal touch, members of the Class of 2026 created original artwork of flowers, butterflies, dragonflies, and chickens that was scanned, reproduced, and incorporated into the mural.

This beautiful art installation is the Class of 2026’s gift to Lamplighter—a lasting reminder of their creativity, community, and time at the School.

A special thank you to local artist Mari Pohlman | Muralist for helping us bring this project to life!
