Well...this is a post I never thought I'd have to write. ❤️
After a lot of reflection, I've made the difficult decision to step away from teaching water aerobics at the Dallas Aquatic Center.
This class has never been just a workout to me. It has been a family. We've laughed together, encouraged one another, celebrated life's highs, supported each other through the lows, and created friendships that I'll always cherish. Every class, every conversation, and every smile has meant more to me than you'll ever know.
Many of you have watched my daughters grow up, and you've been such an important part of my life over the years. For that, I will be forever grateful.
As I begin this next chapter, I've decided to dedicate more of my time to serving our community as a volunteer firefighter for the City of Dallas and, most importantly, making memories with my daughter, Abbi. Life moves quickly, and I want to be intentional about spending this time with the people and passions that mean the most to me.
To every person who ever stepped into my class—thank you. Thank you for trusting me, for working hard, for making me laugh until my stomach hurt, and for making Tuesday and Thursday mornings something I always looked forward to. I may have been your instructor, but you've taught me just as much about resilience, kindness, perseverance, and friendship.
While I won't be on the pool deck anymore, this isn't goodbye. If you see me around town, please stop and say hello. I'd love to hear how you're doing, and I hope we stay in touch.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for letting me be a small part of your lives. I will miss you all more than words can say. ❤️💙
