'awe-BAAK,' is a Bangla (or Bengali) word that means a pleasant surprise. ABAC, the Academy of Bangla Arts and Culture, is a premier cultural organization active since 1986. Our endeavors are to foster an awareness and appreciation of the highest levels of creative work for the intellectually curious and culturally committed in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex.
