It was almost eight months ago, when the initial proposal of project Falcon was presented to the board members. Some were suspicious at first, it seemed to be an ambushes task. But, the truth is when you put your mind and soul into something, there is hardly anything that could stop you! I am proud to announce that just two days ago, the first prototype of the project was presented successfully (Processing over eight million triangles in 3D real time monitoring simulator via Wolf Engine) and let me reassure you it is just the beginning.
This is just the tip of an iceberg…

GPU Notes: 01 - Hello Nextgen GPU API(s) Hello there. I hope you all are doing well, It's been a while! As you might recall, the last we discussed was about gpu programming in DirectX 11.1

Hello everyone, today I just released version 1.2.12.0 of Wolf.Engine. The Wolf Engine is a comprehensive set of C++ open source and cross platform libraries which supports Python and Lua as an embedded script languages.
In this version, I have committed major changes. Wolf built and tested on following platforms:
* Windows 10 native Win32 with DirectX 12 and 11 API (x86 and x64 architectures)
* Windows 8.1/8 native Win32 with DircetX 11 (x86 and x64 architectures)
* Universal Windows Platform for both DirectX12 and DirectX 11 on PC, Tablets and Windows Phone devices (XBOX One is under testing)
* Nvidia Tegra Shield and any android devices which support Android 6 or higher version
* Linux Ubuntu 16.04 with any GPU which supports Vulkan 1.0
* Mac PC with OSX which supports Metal API
* IPhone and IPad devices with iOS which support Metal API
The following projects achieved by Wolf.Engine :
* "Wolf.Playout" : a playout automation software uses by Alalam News Network TV channel.
* "Wolf.CG" is a true real time 3D graphics and character generator.
* At FANAP, we are using Wolf Engine to build 3D Simulator for real time 3D monitoring.

I'm working on cross platform game engine, named .
Wolf is not a sole-purposed game framework, it is used as the base framework of real time applications, such as CG broadcasting tool.
is basically an extensive usage of external sub-frameworks and you can use and link it to your projects.
Currently it supports 11.X and 12, but I'm working on rendering framework for and devices and also a custom render viewport for .

Wolf Source | TV broadcasting softwares, Game/Simulator tools and GPU articles.

Most gpu programmers have the same problem when it comes to developing an editor for their game engine or integrate their 3D apps with GUI controls,because it requires a lot of effort.

In new version of Wolf.Engine, you can use and override pure GUI controls for your real time application or games.
These controls are render by GPU and you can modify them just by the xml file.
