Today wasn’t your typical day on the job.

One of our crews at All Things Outdoors, LLC (ATO Services) got caught in a tough spot — tight driveway, steep grade, and things weren’t going as planned (as you can see in the photos). It could’ve easily turned into a long, expensive situation.

But then… someone stopped.

A man driving a white van off Davis Mill Road pulled over and helped our guys out. No hesitation. No questions asked. Just stepped in and got them out of a bind.

By the time I arrived, everything was handled. I asked him what we owed him…

He said, “nothing.”

That kind of character is hard to find these days.

We’re in the business of helping people every day —
Maintenance • Landscape Design & Installation • Masonry & Hardscapes • Concrete —
but today, someone helped us.

There are still good people out here. God is still good.

With the potential ice storm coming in this weekend, we are officially SOLD OUT of firewood. We will have more available, but it will most likely be the first week or so of February before we’re back up and running.

This post is more about the relationship with this particular customer, than it is the craftsmanship, timing, and other efforts, that went into this project. We are very fortunate to have worked with Kimley-Horn, and their tremendous architectural designer, Kate Hogan, on this project. We also appreciate Kate’s message to our company, and our staff, about the preciseness, professionalism, and how much she enjoyed working with us on this project. Those messages mean a great deal to us, and help to try to instill a positive culture within our company. ATO was trusted, on this project, with all facets of landscaping, irrigation, pressure reduction, landscape installation per architectural design, along with coordination with county arborists and inspections.

Also a special thanks to our entire staff, our office, and of course, our field guys and managers, for their tremendous efforts. We are very fortunate to be the mediator between great customers, and also great team members! ***This position pays top pay, between $45,000-$55,000 annually, paid time off after 90 days, vacation & sick pay, paid company Holidays, as well as profit sharing, and other perks that come with this position. ATO is NOT a seasonal hiring company, as we have 52 week accounts, and retain our employees year round. ATO also is willing to provide a FOUR DAY work week with this position***

ATO is hiring within our maintenance division, as a part of organic growth, as this is not replacing any current positions within our maintenance department. ATO seeks an individual within our maintenance division, who has the ability to be a part of a high-end team, pay attention to detail, and can become a good teacher and leader of others. Prior experience is desired. ATO seeks individuals with a clean MVR, within a very positive culture & company, to provide a possible long-term situation, that would allow for advancement within our company.
