Today, we honor and celebrate the life of Mrs. Gladys Patterson Jefferson, one our beloved founders and owners of Jefferson Place Learning & Developmental Center, Inc.

Though she passed away many years ago, her legacy continues to live on in the hearts of every child, family, community, and church member she touched. Mrs. Glady’s vision, love for children and passion for education laid the foundation for everything we continue to do today.

On this special day, her birthday, we pause to remember her remarkable spirit and lasting impact she made. Her legacy is not only carried in the walls of Jefferson Place but in the lives that have been shaped by her dedication and love.

Known as “The GOAT of Child Care”’ Mr. Charles Jefferson is more than a teacher/director/mentor- he is a visionary, a man passionate about early learning, child care and education. His dedication, generosity and impact continues to inspire everyone that’s blessed to know him.
