Texas Northern Model Railroad Club

Texas Northern Model Railroad Club TNMRC is a 501(c)(3) organization. We the largest HO model train layouts in North Texas. We have a modular N Scale layout. We are a 501(c)(3) organization.

We are a member of the North Texas Council of Model Railroad Clubs. We are an NMRA Affiliate Club. Our business meetings are held the first Thursday of each month at 7:00 PM. Our membership is diverse and full of friendly people. There are members at all levels from beginners to experts. Members have unrestricted access 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Club is located midway through the business park, on the left hand side entering from Plano.

80 coal hoppers are not an issue for these 4 BNFS GE ES44 by ScaleTrain.

Long trains are not an issue either at THE largest, permanent HO layout in North Texas at the Texas Northern Railroad.

Sadly, this year UP’s 4014 isn’t coming through North Texas as normal, but the East Coast and many other cities who do not get to see the mighty locomotive is having the opportunity.

Here is a look at some of the huge crowds enjoying the Worlds biggest Steam Locomotive, the 4014 Big Boy.

Even though it’s Saturday, a long consist pulling autos and boxcars full of goods needed across the layout.
