Over the busy winter season, several of our student nurse sitters graduated nursing school - what an accomplishment! Many years of dedication and sacrifice to join the most trusted profession year after year.

Founded by a nurse of 19 years, SITTERNEEDED is proud to be a place along their journey. It’s been tough years to be providing in-home care while we all navigated a global pandemic; and yet, they navigated the uncertainty of work and school with professionalism and passion. It was trials that will hopefully prepare them somehow for the nursing world they are stepping into which looks vastly different from a few years ago.

We are very thrilled to welcome Ashley and Chrissy who attend to our student nurse sitter family. They are both pursing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and we are thrilled they are working with us. You can request a sitter through our links and use our new weekly rate option and our new scheduling system with built in visit confirmation notifications along with texts when you’re sitter is on the way! We are happy to introduce Bailey who has been a welcome addition to our sitter family. She is a student of where she’s pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and also holds a prior college degree in science. Bailey has 10 years of experience in caring for newborns and older children and also has tutoring experience in math and English. Families have provided positive feedback about her care and we are so proud she’s on our nursing student sitter team! What a week it’s been for Texas 😭 and for our local service area of Dallas-Fort Worth! We could not be more happier for the shining sun ☀️ so that the snow and ice can melt away 🙏🏼 But so much left to repair and overcome as many without power or water and the hard work begins to fix damage.
