Congratulations to Elizabeth Hurt Lau!
SPS Class of 2011, graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a Doctorate of Philosophy in Biomedical and Biological Science on May 16, 2026. She is excited to be joining the faculty at Baylor University Louise Herrington School of Nursing in the fall. She will also be furthering her education by becoming a MMCP (Marquette Method Certified Professional), with plans to teach Natural Family Planning across the diocese.

It was extra special to see some of our alumni back where it all started—what a full circle moment! We love watching our students grow and shine, and today was such a great reminder of the strong community we’re building together.
