SPEED DOESN’T REPLACE FUNDAMENTALS. IT EXPOSES THEM.
Anyone can fire slowly and make an acceptable hit. The real test begins when the pace increases and the shooter must maintain control, process the sights and deliver accurate follow-up shots.
A five-round cadence drill can reveal problems that single shots often hide:
* Inconsistent grip pressure
* Poor recoil management
* Unnecessary visual confirmation
* Disrupted trigger manipulation
* A stance that cannot manage repeated fire
Start slowly. Establish an accountable standard. Increase the pace only while the hits remain acceptable. When performance breaks down, identify the cause instead of simply shooting more am******on.
Realistic Defense Handgun Skills Training develops repeatable performance through modern instruction in stance, grip, trigger control, visual processing, recoil management and target transitions.
Train with a purpose. Measure the result. Correct the problem.
