We’re hiring Public Speaking & Drama Instructors to lead both after-school programs and in-school enrichment classes (18+) across the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex.”

This is more than a typical daycare role—you’ll lead fun, engaging activities that inspire confidence, creativity, and social-emotional growth in a nurturing environment.

Details:

Location: Multiple schools and community sites across the Dallas Metroplex
Job Type: Part-time, Contract
Hours: 1–10 per week
Day shift, Mon–Fri (No nights/weekends!)
Full training provided - no prior teaching experience required

Our students have booked national commercial campaigns, including Super Bowl Commercials!!
Many A-list actors started their acting career in TV commercials. Brad Pitt, Matthew McConaughey, and Cameron Diaz, to name a few, are examples of famous actors that began their acting careers doing TV commercials for food, cell phones, etc.
Acting for commercials requires a specific set of skills.
Casting directors will cast the actor that will be able to sell the product, and someone that can be memorable, relatable and real. Students will learn to be THAT actor! They will work on scripted material and will explore the elements of the auditioning process and technique specifically for the commercial industry. They will learn improvisation skills for commercial auditions, since it's a crucial skill needed to book a commercial.

Public speaking skills and communications skills are critical factors for the future success of anyone, regardless of their future profession.
Being able to speak well in public is a skill that will be helpful in every aspect of an individual's life. It could be at work, school, or in your personal life.
At Star On!! The Acting Studio, our students learn to control their nerves and to feel confident and calm while they speak to a group of people. They learn to be present, make connection with their audience, and to improve their story telling skills. They also learn the importance of body language in public speaking. Students develop basic skills of presence, confidence in their own skin, and learn to deliver a persuasive message. Their confidence will rise enormously and they will transform their overall personality.
