Today, we celebrate Mrs. Serita Jakes and the wisdom, grace, and heart she continues to pour into the Jakes Divinity School community. 💐

Her steadfast support of JDS and her instrumental role in shaping the Women in Leadership Certificate have helped establish a transformative space where women are equipped to lead with conviction, cultivate their God-given gifts, and make meaningful impact in ministry, the marketplace, and beyond.

Wholeness is not the absence of weight—it is the grace to carry what God has entrusted to us without losing ourselves in the process.

This September, we gather for Leading from Wholeness: Integrating Spirit, Soul, and Body.

We begin Sunday morning at The Potter’s House of Dallas with a sacred celebration honoring 50 years of ministry from our Chancellor, Bishop T.D. Jakes—a legacy of faithfulness, endurance, and obedience to the call.

Then, we turn toward our own calling: to become leaders who are whole enough to carry what is next.

This September, the JDS Fall Symposium opens on Sunday morning at The Potter’s House of Dallas as we honor 50 years of ministry and faithful service from our Chancellor, Bishop T.D. Jakes.

As we celebrate his extraordinary legacy, we turn our hearts toward our theme: Leading from Wholeness: Integrating Spirit, Soul, and Body.

Because before leadership is what we do, it is who we are becoming. May this be a sacred time of renewal, alignment, and preparation for what God has called us to carry next.
