Levine Academy Gala 2025 Honorary Alumni: Havy Rosenstock Friedman ('01)

For Havy Rosenstock Friedman and her family, Levine Academy has always been more than a school—it’s a second home. Over 41 years ago, Havy’s parents, Katty and Julio Rosenstock, moved from Costa Rica and found the warmth, love, and vibrant Jewish community they cherished at Solomon Schechter (now Levine Academy).

A proud alumna, Havy credits Levine for instilling a deep love of Judaism, a connection to Israel, and lifelong friendships. After graduating, she built a successful career in fashion and now serves as a Merchandise Planner and Buyer at Stanley Korshak.

When Havy and her husband, Max, returned to Dallas in 2019, enrolling their sons, Noah and Ari, in Levine’s Early Childhood program felt like coming full circle. Grateful for the exceptional educators and nurturing community, the Friedmans are committed to supporting Levine’s role in shaping the next generation.

Havy’s story is a testament to the lasting impact of Levine Academy—a place where love, learning, and Jewish values create a brighter future for all.

Levine Academy Gala 2025 Honorary Alumni: Daniel Frid ('00)

Dallas native Daniel Frid began his journey at Solomon Schechter Academy, where he developed a strong Jewish foundation and a profound sense of community. A graduate of Plano West Senior High and Boston University, Daniel excelled as an NCAA Division I tennis player, balancing elite athletics with academic rigor. Today, as a professional at Shop Companies, Daniel exemplifies dedication and integrity, delivering tailored solutions in commercial real estate.

Levine Academy Gala 2025 Honorary Alumni: Steven Nosnik ('98)

Steven Nosnik’s journey with Levine Academy began in 1985 as a toddler in Mommy and Me classes, planting the seeds of a lifelong connection. A proud graduate of the Class of 1998, Steven went on to excel at Greenhill School and the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he graduated in 2006.

After starting his career as a futures trader in New York City, Steven founded a successful Wine and Spirits Import and Distribution Company. It was during his time in New York that he met his wife, Carolyn. Together, they built a life filled with love and purpose, raising their sons, Jack (😎 and Charlie (4), along with their beloved dog, Pablo.

In August 2023, after 17 years in New York, Steven and his family returned to Dallas, bringing his journey full circle. Enrolling Charlie in Pre-K at Levine Academy felt like coming home. Steven was deeply moved to find that the warmth, values, and sense of belonging he experienced as a child continue to thrive today. The Nosnik family was embraced by the Levine community during both joyful moments and difficult times, including the challenges of October 7, 2023.

Steven’s return has also brought beautiful reconnections, including remodeling the childhood home of his lifelong friend and Levine classmate, Daniel Lifshen. These experiences are a testament to the lasting bonds formed at Levine Academy—a place where friendships endure and community flourishes.

For Steven and Carolyn, Levine is more than a school; it’s a nurturing community that instills meaningful Jewish values and a sense of belonging. Their story reflects the enduring impact of Levine Academy—a place where connections and traditions are built to last for generations.
