This week we welcomed 4 new faculty! First up is Dr. Priscilla Kha.
Priscilla Kha, D.O. is joining our practice at Frisco Primary care as a Clinical Assistant Professor. You may recall that Dr. Kha is a 2026 graduate of our Family Medicine Residency and former chief resident. Here are a few facts about Dr. Kha:
About Me: I was born at Parkland Hospital (I know, pretty cool!) and grew up in the DFW area -- Richardson/Plano/Murphy. I studied chemistry at Baylor University and pivoted to the medical field after realizing lab work was not for me. At the University of North Texas Health Science Center in Fort Worth, I obtained a master's in public health followed by a medical degree from Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Professional interests: lifestyle medicine, osteopathic manipulative medicine, and quality improvement
Hobbies: exploring nature trails, trying new recipes, and spending time with our sweet Boston terrier-lab-collie mix, Ollie!
Interesting Fact: I've been interested in furniture flipping, but not sure how to get into it. It may be added to the list of hobbies in the next few years!
Welcome back to the department! We love it when our residents return to the roost!
