The ones that didn’t fit on the slides:
A fitness tracker she checks right after dinner.

Two kinds of gum, for two different cravings.

A receipt for a salad she is counting as a win.

A grocery list with the word protein underlined twice.

A phone with alarms named water, walk, and stop.

Every woman who has done this for a while has her own version of this bag.

Forgot breakfast? Skip the drive-thru. 🌮

I stopped at my local taco shop for a barbacoa and egg taco: eggs, slow-cooked meat, fresh salsa, one small tortilla. Real ingredients, made fresh, same wait as a drive-thru line, and $3.95.

Why it matters for insulin resistance: what’s in your food counts just as much as how many carbs are on the label. Whole-food fillings like eggs and meat give you protein and fat to slow the glucose rise, while many fast food breakfast sandwiches are built on refined bread and processed ingredients.

Not every drive-thru choice is bad, and not every taco is perfect. Keep your portion reasonable, and consider a corn tortilla for even more fiber.

Everyone’s glucose responds differently, so check yours!

Calming your nervous system can help lower stress-related blood sugar spikes. 🌿

Relaxation activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which helps bring cortisol and stress down.

It tells your brain you’re not being chased by a bear, so your body can settle into calm.

And when stress hormones ease, your liver is less likely to release extra glucose into your bloodstream.

Watch this reel a few times, save it for when tension hits, and share it with a friend who needs it.
