In celebration of Pi Day, is excited to co-launch the app in partnership with and nine DFW community partners!
Created through a collaboration between researchers in and , the Mathfinder app invites families to explore the Dallas–Fort Worth area while discovering mathematics in everyday places — from the Dallas Zoo and the Arboretum to museums, community centers, and nature centers across the region.
The app was made possible through a $2.5 million grant awarded to Simmons in 2021 and is launching today after more than four years of research and development.
