Standing in front of your peers, sharing your ideas, and putting yourself forward takes courage and confidence. No matter the election results, each of these Wildcats demonstrated leadership and a willingness to serve their school community. Way to lead, 8th grade!

It’s our first full week of school, and our students are already diving right into the fun of learning! Our 4th graders kicked off the week with a science experiment exploring diffusion and osmosis using eggs and vinegar. Students formed their hypotheses, recorded observations, and took measurements before setting their experiments aside. They’ll check back in a few days to see what happened to their eggs and whether their hypotheses were correct. We can’t wait to see the results!

Welcome Back!

Today, we welcomed some of our Wildcats back to campus for the start of another wonderful school year — from our youngest students to our Upper School leaders.

And a few Wildcats weren’t the only ones celebrating a big first! Dr. Lisa M. Long marked her first day of school as President of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School, and Mrs. Sara Casner celebrated her first day as Upper School Principal. Of course, we couldn’t let the students have all the fun, so they got their own first-day signs, too!

From PK to 7th grade, there were smiles, hugs, reunions, new beginnings, and plenty of first-day excitement. Next we’ll celebrate our other grades!

Here’s to a year rooted in Knowledge, Prayer, Responsibility, and Service. Welcome back, Wildcats!

Starting the Year on a High Note!

STA WildTone and CatTone Choirs kicked off the year with Choir Boot Camp under the amazing direction of Mr. Taylor Coffin—laughing, singing, connecting, and making memories together!

Students also spread a little joy throughout the Upper School by writing welcome-back letters to teachers and leaving words of affirmation on student lockers for a warm welcome back to school.

And there’s even more to celebrate—65 students are participating in our choral program this year!

What a wonderful way to start the year with music, kindness, and community. We can’t wait to hear what this talented group has in store!
