The Russian Federation advises against military intervention in the Niger crisis and supports using constitutional means to restore peace in the West African country.
In short response, the Russian ambassador said, “Russia opposes a military solution to the conflict, Russia has no plans to use its armed forces in Niger. The people of Niger should solve their problems independently in a constitutional manner without any resort to force or threat to use it.”
Russia's Ambassador to Nigeria, Mr. Alexei Shebarshin, said this while responding to an inquiry by The PUNCH and suggested the use of constitutional methods to bring peace back to the West African nation.

Burkina Faso and Mali warn that any military intervention in Niger to reinstate President Mohamed Bazoum would be seen as a declaration of war against their nations, citing potential destabilization in the region. They also refuse to apply the sanctions imposed on Niger by West African leaders.

Gold-bedecked Fulani Woman Of Mali

In the vast plains of Mali, near the enchanting town of Bandiagara, a captivating sight awaited those who ventured into the heart of the region. Amongst the golden landscape, a figure emerged, adorned in a radiant display of traditional jewelry and vibrant attire. This vision of elegance and cultural heritage was none other than a Gold-bedecked Red Fulani woman.

Her presence commanded attention, as she stood tall and proud, embodying the grace and beauty that her ancestors had passed down through generations. With each step, her resplendent gold jewelry jingled softly, whispering tales of history and tradition. The intricate patterns of her garments mirrored the rich heritage of her people, weaving stories of resilience and perseverance.

Her eyes sparkled with a profound wisdom, reflecting the knowledge of the elders and the experiences of her people. Every wrinkle on her weathered face carried the weight of a life well-lived, and her smile conveyed a sense of contentment and inner strength. Her vibrant headscarf swayed gently in the wind, capturing the essence of her spirit, which was as untamed and free as the vast savannah that stretched before her.

As the Red Fulani woman stood amidst the golden landscape, she embodied the spirit of her people—a spirit that had thrived in the face of adversity, overcoming countless challenges and embracing their unique cultural identity. Through her regal presence, she reminded all who beheld her of the importance of preserving traditions and celebrating the diversity that makes Mali a mosaic of cultures.

For those fortunate enough to witness this remarkable scene, it was a testament to the resilience and beauty that lies within each culture and the power of cultural heritage to inspire and connect people across time and space. The Gold-bedecked Fulani woman of Mali became a symbol, not only of her people but also of the enduring spirit that binds humanity together—a spirit that transcends borders and unites us in our shared journey through life.

Legacy Ignited: A Tribute to Marcus Garvey's Vision and Courage

In honor of Marcus Garvey, a visionary leader,
Whose voice rose strong, a beacon for the oppressed,
With a motive and purpose, he stood tall and inspired,
He heard the cries of generations, longing to be blessed.

Not driven by money, nor seeking lofty position,
His heart beat with a calling, a sacred mission,
For he knew in his soul, the weight of history's pain,
The suffering endured, a legacy not in vain.

"Garvey," they whispered, from the depths of time,
"Your day has arrived, it's your moment to shine,
We've toiled for 250 years, our hopes now reside,
In the actions you take, the change you'll provide."

With courage and determination, he took up the fight,
To uplift the Black race, with unyielding might,
He envisioned a future where pride would be restored,
Where unity and empowerment would be deeply adored.

Through the Universal Negro Improvement Association,
He rallied hearts and minds, creating a sensation,
With words that resonated, like thunder in the sky,
He ignited the flames of hope, never to let them die.

Marcus Garvey, a trailblazer of his time,
A visionary leader, whose spirit still shines,
His legacy lives on, in the hearts he inspired,
A beacon of strength, forever admired.

So let us remember him, with reverence and pride,
For his unwavering devotion, as he bravely defied,
And let his words echo, as a timeless decree,
That justice and equality, for all, must always be.

, your flame will forever burn,
Guiding generations, with lessons we must learn,
In the struggle for freedom, your spirit remains,
A testament to resilience, where hope always reigns.
