Just finished The Power of Your Subconscious Mind* and honestly? It’s making me rethink everything 🧠✨

The big idea: Your subconscious doesn’t know the difference between what’s real and what you vividly imagine. It’s constantly listening to your thoughts and working to make them your reality—whether you realize it or not.

Some takeaways that hit different:
• Your repeated thoughts become beliefs, your beliefs become actions
• Visualization before sleep = programming your subconscious while your conscious mind rests
• You can’t think one thing and expect another—your inner dialogue matters MORE than you think

Yes, it was written in 1963. Yes, some parts feel vintage. But the core truth? Still incredibly relevant.

Now I’m paying way more attention to the stories I tell myself on repeat 👀

Have you read it? What’s one book that shifted your perspective? 💭

Just “Conversations with God” by Neale Donald Walsch and... wow. I need a moment to process.

This book didn’t just make me think differently it made me FEEL differently about everything. About why we’re here, about love, about the challenges we face, about what’s actually possible in this life.

The whole concept sounds wild at first (a conversation with God?), ( 😂 If you know me then honestly this concept isn’t wild ) Walsch writing makes it feel like the most natural, honest dialogue you’ve ever encountered. It’s not preachy. It’s not about rules or guilt. It’s about understanding ourselves and each other on a completely different level.

Some ideas that hit me hard:
• We’re not here to learn lessons through suffering we’re here to remember who we really are
• Fear is just “False Evidence Appearing Real”
• Every person in our life is a gift, showing us something about ourselves

I don’t say this lightly: this might be the most enlightening book I’ve ever read. If you’ve been feeling like there’s got to be more to life than what we’ve been told, or you’re searching for answers that actually resonate... pick this up.

Would love to hear from anyone who’s read it. What part stayed with you?

Today’s session reminded me why I fell in love with coaching in the first place 🔥

There’s something powerful about helping people break through when they feel stuck. Watching that shift happen? That’s what lights me up.

I had to step back from my business for a while. Health challenges, some difficult client experiences, everything hitting at once—it just didn’t feel worth it anymore.

But after several sessions recently, I’m reconsidering. That spark is back.

If I move forward with marketing my services again, I want to do it differently this time. I want to work with people who are truly ready for transformation. The right clients make all the difference.

Still processing all of this, but it feels good to even be thinking about it again.

🧠✨ **Why Joe Dispenza Says Meditation is Your Superpower** ✨🧠

I’ve been meditating every morning for 10 years and include it with ALL my clients… but here’s why it’s not just about finding zen 🧘‍♀️

According to neuroscientist Joe Dispenza, meditation is actually your personal reality-creation laboratory 🔬

Here’s what makes it so powerful:

🔄 **Break the Loop**: You’re living 95% of your day on autopilot. Meditation interrupts those unconscious patterns that keep recreating the same life over and over.

🌊 **Hack Your Brainwaves**: When you drop into alpha/theta states, you literally access your subconscious programming - the hidden beliefs running your life behind the scenes.

🧩 **Rewire Your Brain**: Every time you imagine a new reality during meditation, you’re building new neural pathways. Your brain doesn’t know the difference between a vivid mental experience and reality!

💫 **Elevate Your Emotions**: Instead of just “finding peace,” Dispenza teaches cultivating joy, gratitude, and love BEFORE your dreams manifest. High vibe = high life.

⚡ **Tap Into the Field**: Quantum physics meets consciousness - meditation connects you to infinite possibilities waiting to unfold.

**The game-changer?** You’re not just relaxing… you’re literally becoming your future self. 🚀

Who’s ready to stop living in the past and start creating from pure potential?

🧬✨ Currently diving into “Three Magic Words” by US Anderson and I’m absolutely fascinated by something…

For so long, spirituality and science felt like they lived in completely separate universes. One lane for faith, biblical wisdom, and the mysteries of the soul. Another lane for data, evidence, and empirical truth.

But Anderson does something beautiful here - he weaves them together like they were always meant to dance.

The same principles that govern quantum mechanics somehow echo in ancient spiritual texts. The power of consciousness that science is just beginning to understand has been whispered about in sacred teachings for millennia.

Maybe the real magic isn’t choosing between spirit and science, but discovering how they’ve been speaking the same language all along? 🤔

Anyone else reading something that’s reshaping how you see these “separate” worlds? Would love to hear your thoughts!

📚 MINDSET BOOK SERIES -

The Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale
*The book that started my transformation journey* ✨

——

🔥 Why this book hit different:
This wasn’t just another “think happy thoughts” book. It gave me actual tools to rewire my brain when I was stuck in negative thought spirals.

💡 3 Game-Changing Takeaways:

1. The “Stop-Challenge-Replace” Method

- STOP the negative thought mid-stream
- CHALLENGE: “Is this actually true or helpful?”
- REPLACE with a constructive alternative
*Real talk: This takes practice, but it works.*

1. Morning Visualization Ritual

- Spend 5 minutes visualizing your day going well
- See yourself handling challenges with confidence
- Feel the emotions of success BEFORE it happens
*Your brain literally can’t tell the difference between vivid imagination and reality*

1. The Power of Affirmations (Done Right)

- Not just “I am amazing” on repeat
- Specific, believable statements: “I am learning to handle stress better each day”
- Say them with conviction, not just as empty words

🎯 One thing I implemented immediately:
Started each morning asking “What’s one thing I can be grateful for right now?” Instead of checking my phone first thing.

The shift was subtle but powerful.

🧠 Just finished “Breaking the Habit of Being Yourself” by Joe Dispenza and my mind is blown!

This isn’t just another self-help book - it’s a roadmap for literally rewiring your brain. The core message? Your thoughts create your reality, but most of us are stuck running the same mental programs on repeat.

Here’s what hit me hardest: **95% of who you are by age 35 is just a set of memorized behaviors and emotional reactions.** We’re basically living on autopilot!

But here’s the good news - we can change this. Dispenza breaks down how to:
✨ Interrupt those automatic thought patterns
✨ Create new neural pathways through meditation and visualization
✨ Literally become a different person by thinking differently

The science behind it is fascinating, but the practical steps are what make this book gold. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the same patterns and want to break free, this is your wake-up call.

👉🏾Anyone else read this? What’s one habit or thought pattern you’re ready to break?

💭 MARRIAGE MINDED MONDAY 💭
This week’s focus: Conflict Resolution

Conflict isn’t the enemy of your relationship—it’s how you handle it that matters.

This week, grab your journal and dive into these reflective prompts designed to transform how you and your partner navigate disagreements.

📝 Journal Prompts for Healthier Conflict Resolution:

1. Reflect on your conflict patterns: What recurring argument do you and your partner have? Describe what happens when you feel triggered and how you typically respond. What one small change could interrupt this pattern?
2. Explore your conflict heritage: How was conflict handled in your family growing up? What lessons did you absorb that might be influencing how you approach disagreements in your marriage today?
3. Consider your partner’s perspective: Think about a recent disagreement. Write out what you imagine your partner was feeling and needing in that moment (without judgment). How might understanding their viewpoint change your approach?
4. Identify your conflict strengths: What do you already do well when resolving conflicts? What conflict resolution skill would you like to develop further in yourself?
5. Design your repair ritual: What specific steps could you and your partner take to reconnect after an argument? Create a simple “repair ritual” that honors both of your needs.

🔥 Why Does The Spark Disappear? The Truth Most Couples Need to Hear 🔥

Ever wonder why that magical feeling fades? As a relationship coach, I see these relationship-killers daily:

1. Routine overwhelms romance - when Netflix replaces date nights
2. Communication turns transactional - discussing only logistics, not deeper communication like sharing your dreams and desires.
3.Lack of physical intimacy
4. Personal growth happens in separate directions
5. Unresolved conflicts create emotional walls
6. Technology steals attention that should go to your partner
7. Taking each other for granted becomes the new normal

The good news? EVERY ONE of these spark-stealers is fixable with the right guidance.

Ready to reignite what brought you together? Let’s talk about practical steps to bring back that feeling.

# Marriage Minded Mondays: Rekindling Your Spark ✨

When relationships settle into comfort, the initial spark can fade beneath daily routines. Today’s prompts invite you to explore the deeper dimensions of connection:

1. Reflect on a moment when you felt profoundly understood by your partner. What vulnerability did you share, and how did their response strengthen your bond? How might you create space for similar exchanges now?

2. Consider how your individual fears may be creating distance. What unspoken concern might you be protecting your partner from, and what truth needs expression to restore intimacy?

3. Identify three ways your definition of love has evolved since your relationship began. How might acknowledging these changes help you appreciate your current connection rather than comparing it to the past?

4. Examine which parts of yourself you’ve kept hidden recently. What aspect of your authentic self are you longing to share with your partner again, and what’s holding you back?

5. Beyond physical intimacy, what form of connection feels most absent in your relationship right now? What specific action could each of you take to nurture this dimension?

How do you maintain connection in your relationship? Share below! ❤️

Your Sista on the Sofa,

“Single Coaches Can’t Give Relationship Advice”? Let’s Talk About That…

Yes, I’ve heard the whispers. “How can she guide couples when she’s single?”

Here’s what those whispers miss: relationship coaching isn’t about my relationship status—it’s about proven strategies that create lasting connection.
The Truth About “The Spark”
I was listening to a well-known couple Heather and Trell recently who got brutally honest about their marriage. Their confession?
“The spark dies. For us, it typically doesn’t return until after we travel together.”
Another truth bomb they dropped:
“We really need to be more intentional about having date nights and traveling together.”
Sound familiar? This is exactly what I emphasize in my coaching!
Why I Recommend Marriage Minded Journal prompts? Kandid Konversation starters?
The intentional date nights? The travel recommendations? The love deposits?
I don’t suggest these because they sound cute on Instagram.
I recommend them because they work.
The healthiest couples I work with consistently practice intentionality. They plan meaningful time together. They create new experiences. They actively maintain their connection.
These aren’t trendy tips—they’re relationship foundations backed by both research and real-world success stories from the couples I’ve helped transform their relationships.
(Note: These strategies are for healthy relationships. If you’re experiencing abuse, please reach out for appropriate support.)

Reflection- What relationship challenge are you facing that intentionality might help solve?
