You may have heard how by just adding an "Authorized User" to your credit report can boost your scores.

This is not true for everyone. Not to mention, some creditors will not even report to credit for an authorized user.

If you are looking to boost your scores quickly by adding an authorized user account, make sure you follow this advice.

Also remember, the points earned from an authorized user card is done only when its an account better than what you already have.

For example in age, credit limit and history!! We only advise on adding in an authorized user account when the card is over 10 years in age.

Side note: Mortgage Lenders will need you to have at least 2 credit accounts open in your name when you have an authorized user account in your report!!
