This summer, Oak Hill Academy received a $100,000 grant from Hillcrest Foundation, Bank of America, N.A., Co-Trustee. This generous grant helped fund security measures at Oak Hill Academy’s new high school campus, including perimeter fencing, cameras and badge entry access.
Hillcrest Foundation joined other capital campaign donors in making a second Oak Hill Academy campus a reality. The high school campus, located at 9027 Midway Road in Dallas, features a renovated two-story educational building with academic classrooms, an expanded work-readiness skills lab, a student lounge for socializing, an outdoor dining terrace, and a shaded recreation space with a basketball court, swings and lawn games.
OHA Executive Director Brit Smart, M.Ed., was honored to receive this transformational gift for Oak Hill Academy at Cochran Chapel, the school’s high school campus.
“The safety of our students and staff during the school day is paramount. We are grateful to Hillcrest Foundation for funding our high school campus’ security features, ensuring a safe learning environment for all,” said Mr. Smart.
