Shelton is canceling classes and after-school activities on Thursday, January 9, due to predicted snow, ice and hazardous road conditions.

We will continue to monitor the weather to determine Friday's plan.

Charger Soccer hosted its first alumni game over the winter break. There were former soccer players from the classes of 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021, 2020 & 2019.

We 💙 having alumni on campus! Tuesday was Shelton Alumni Day. Former students reconnected, shared stories, visited with teachers & toured the Shelton campus. Thanks to Carolyn Strickfaden, Alumni Relations Coordinator, for organizing the event!

Ms. Dodd & Ms. DeTullio’s 3rd/4th grade advisory took an exciting trip to the Fort Worth Museum of Science and History! Students explored hands-on exhibits, uncovered fascinating scientific concepts & sparked their curiosity about the world around them. The day was filled with fun, discovery & moments of inspiration, making it a memorable learning experience outside the classroom.

From sixth grade to senior year, Avery Macha’s Shelton journey has prepared her for college and career success. We’re so proud of all she’s achieved!

Congrats to Charger Football players for earning TAPPS State Honors!

The Group Speech Department just wrapped up their annual Cupcake Collaboratives with the Lower School students! They learned baking-related vocabulary & had the chance to participate in each step of the cupcake-making process. It was such a sweet success!

The Fall Photography & Film Showcase took place on Dec 11 with a reception in the Moody Fine Arts Center, celebrating the work of Shelton Photography students. Following the reception, attendees gathered in the Black Box for a screening of films created by Shelton Film students.
