This week we’re happy to celebrate Ruthy, our Programs and Disabilities Manager at Bachman Lake Community School, for serving on a panel at the Parents as Teachers Conference in Portland.

Ruthy joined fellow Parents as Teachers Curriculum Partners for a session titled “Navigating OHS Performance Standards and PAT Curricula Fidelity.” Panelists shared their experiences implementing the Parents as Teachers approach and curriculum within home-based programs, offering valuable insights, answering questions, and sharing strategies to support families and strengthen early childhood education.

We’re proud to see Ruthy representing Lumin Education and contributing her experience and insights to a community of professionals dedicated to helping children and families thrive.

Lumin had such a great time connecting with our East Dallas neighbors at National Night Out this week!

We loved meeting community members and local organizations; it was a wonderful evening celebrating the community we’re proud to be part of.

We’re proud to celebrate our staff members, Tricey, Paul, and Julia, for recently completing United Way of Metropolitan Dallas Data Capacity Building Initiative (DCBI), a program in partnership with the Parkland Center for Clinical Innovation (PCCI).

Through DCBI, local nonprofits learn how to use data to better understand the communities they serve, identify areas of need, and make informed decisions that can create meaningful impact.

We’re so proud to see them represent Lumin Education and contribute to this important work!

This weekend, Lumin Bachman Lake Community School connected more than 50 people with health screenings, resources, family support, safety information, and other services.

A huge thank you to all of our incredible vendors and volunteers who shared their time, knowledge, and resources to make this event possible. And special thanks to Central Market for generously donating food for our families and volunteers!

Our Lumin Bachman Lake Community School families recently enjoyed a parent workshop in partnership with PBS KIDS, KERA, and Texas Parents as Teachers.

Families had a wonderful time enjoying live music, dancing, and getting creative by making their own musical instruments using recycled materials.

A big thank you to our partners for helping create such a joyful experience for our families!

What does it feel like to experience Montessori from a child’s perspective?

The Silent Journey & Discovery® workshop allows parents and staff to step into the Montessori experience and develop a deeper understanding of how children learn and why the prepared environment matters.

On Saturday, Parents as well as members of Lumin's Leadership Team participated in The Silent Journey & Discovery® experience and were able to learn, reflect, and see Montessori through a new perspective.
