The Human Rights Program at Southern Methodist University is one of only seven institutions in the United States to offer an undergraduate bachelor's degree in Human Rights. We train emerging leaders, facilitate global trips, organize community events, and guide social movements.

Congratulations to Zahra Chowdhury on being awarded the Critical Language Scholarship (CLS) Program ✨

This summer, Zahra will be heading to Meknes, Morocco to study Arabic through this prestigious, fully funded program sponsored by the U.S. Department of State.

We are so proud to have her as one of our Strategic Directors and can’t wait to see all that she accomplishes 🌍🤍
