Feedback is a gift, but only when the timing is right.

During a walkthrough in these first couple weeks of school, we left this note on a teacher's door, real, specific feedback, given right now, while it can still shape the rest of the year. Here is why timing matters so much.

The small moves a teacher makes in week one or week two are what prevent the meltdown in October, when everything usually falls apart.

Feedback given late does not fix anything, it just documents what already went wrong.

This week, our founder and CEO, Taji Wright-Fitzhugh, stood before the Irving ISD Board of Trustees and shared why KIDmistry® exists.

As a former administrator, she once lost a brand new teacher before lunch. The teacher said the kids wouldn’t sit down. So she stepped into that vacant classroom herself and taught until a replacement came, and sometimes, one never did.

That is why KIDmistry®, the first response for teachers, exists. We beat burnout before it turns into a resignation.

Grateful to Trustee Heather Stroup for the invitation to speak, and to the Irving ISD Board for the chance to be heard. This is just the beginning.

New school year, new teachers, and we made sure they walked into their classrooms ready, not just informed.

We led an interactive “Classroom Stable” training with Uplift Heights Healthcare Institute High School to give their new teachers a strong start before day one even hit.

This was not a sit and get. Teachers practiced real, tangible skills they can use immediately, whether they were new to the field or just new to the campus. Because classroom management is not one size fits all, and support should not be either.

We are not just a professional development service, we are the community teachers need to get a win before the weekend, week after week.

This is only the beginning for - The First Response for Teachers, and we are endlessly grateful for the leadership and vision of Uplift Heights Healthcare Institute High School in prioritizing their teachers like this.

We showed up for ’s Annual Back to School Festival, and it did not disappoint.

Huge thank you to the Lena program at ForOakCliff doing incredible work ensuring littles ages 0-5 years get strong literacy support alongside their families, for having us in their space.

We were right there among district partners and local community groups, all showing up for the whole family, including our teachers.

And that is exactly where we come in as . It was such a joy connecting with families and educators hungry for this kind of support.

What an amazing time connecting with the incredible teachers of Irving ISD at their new teacher luncheon this week!

We loved sharing how KIDmistry® is THE FIRST RESPONSE FOR TEACHERS, beating burnout before it turns into a resignation.

The energy in that room was contagious, and it showed, so many teachers signed up right there for our First Response Community waitlist to get early access to our newest tools.
