Life School began in 1998 to serve students and families in southern Dallas. It is through the vision of the Founder, Dr. Tom Wilson, that Life School opened its doors with 15 faculty and staff members serving 266 students at the Oak Cliff campus. Life School Oak Cliff Secondary joins the entire Oak Cliff community in praying for the families and individuals affected by the tragic apartment fire. Our hearts are with everyone who has experienced loss, displacement, and hardship during this difficult time.
Moments like these remind us of what makes Oak Cliff so special. We come together. We support one another. We lift each other up when our neighbors are hurting.
is accepting donations for the families impacted by the fire from Monday, June 1 through Thursday, June 4, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Needed items include:
• Bottled water
• Non-perishable food items
• Gently used or new clothing
• Diapers and wipes
• Baby formula
• Blankets
• Gift cards
Monetary donations can also be made at missionoakcliff.org/donate. If it is more convenient, you may bring donated items to Life School Oak Cliff Secondary, and we will deliver them to Mission Oak Cliff.

Congratulations to one of our very own, Chaz Mayes! He won 2nd place in the “Water Conservation Art Contest” for the city of Dallas. He also won a pizza party for the whole class and $100 in Art supplies for Ms. Nunns’ Art class! 🎨🖼️
