Last week we celebrated our amazing 5th graders as they wrapped up their elementary school journey! 🎓❤️ From the awards to the clap out to the fun PTA-sponsored party it was such a special day for our students. Thank you to Mount Auburn STEAM Academy PTA, Ms. Fuentes, De Lara Rentals, and 1000 Detalles for helping make it all possible. We are so proud of our Mustangs! 🐴✨

¡La semana pasada celebramos a nuestros increíbles estudiantes de 5.º grado mientras cerraban su etapa en la primaria! 🎓❤️ Desde los premios hasta el clap out y la divertida fiesta patrocinada por el PTA fue un día muy especial para nuestros estudiantes. This year, Summer Cool for Mount Auburn students will be hosted at Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary. Although our campus will not host the program this summer, we are excited that our students still have the opportunity to participate at a nearby campus.

Summer Cool is open to all students in grades PK3–5 and is especially encouraged for students who may be struggling academically, as participation can count toward HB1415 hours. The program will provide engaging instruction in reading and math, along with weekly clubs, parties, incentives, and other fun activities for students.

Program Details:
• Dates: June 1–25 (Monday–Thursday)
• Time: 7:45 AM – 3:45 PM
• Location: Ignacio Zaragoza Elementary
4550 Worth St, Dallas, TX 75246
• Grades: PK3–5

Este año, el programa Summer Cool para los estudiantes de Mount Auburn se llevará a cabo en la Primaria Ignacio Zaragoza. Aunque nuestro campus no ofrecerá el programa este verano, nos alegra que nuestros estudiantes todavía tengan la oportunidad de participar en una escuela cercana.

Summer Cool está abierto para todos los estudiantes de PK3 a 5.º grado y se recomienda especialmente para estudiantes que puedan estar teniendo dificultades académicas, ya que la participación puede contar para las horas de HB1415. El programa ofrecerá instrucción dinámica en lectura y matemáticas, además de clubes semanales, fiestas, incentivos y muchas actividades divertidas para los estudiantes.

Mount Auburn family, we have some exciting news to share!

Our amazing Assistant Principal, Ms. Holt, will begin a new chapter in her leadership journey as the Principal of Preston Hollow Elementary for the 2026-2027 school year.

We are incredibly proud of and excited for her as she takes this next step. Over the past several years, she has poured so much love, dedication, and leadership into our students, staff, and community. We know she is going to do amazing things as a principal!

As we celebrate Ms. Holt, Mount Auburn will begin the search for our next Assistant Principal. We are committed to finding the right leader to continue supporting our students, staff, and community as we keep building on the great work happening at our school.

Congratulations, Ms. Holt! Once a Mustang, always a Mustang!
