MU Mission, Ministry, & Service The Office for Mission, Ministry, and Service is located in the Banks Student Life Center.

The Office for Mission, Mission and Service at Misericordia University serves the Mission of the University by making visible and effective our Mercy Charisms and Catholic Tradition. We seek to respond to the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy through advocacy, education and action. We seek to reach out and respect persons of all faith backgrounds and traditions while inviting them to join us in our mission. We do this by nurturing and celebrating our faith through prayer and liturgies; educating our students in Christian values, morals, leadership and decision making; developing in our students practices of prayer and reflection; fostering a passion for social justice issues that enable our students to be an advocate on behalf of those who are poor and oppressed; empowering students to be leaders in the community and on campus.

Thank you so much to the students of Misericordia University who gave up two hours of their Sunday morning to come assist with a deep clean of our theater. Wonderful job, that we couldn't have done without their assistance!

Our Intern Spotlights are back for the fall semester! 💼🐾

Meet Jonathan Castlegrant ’27, a Mass Communications & Design major with a minor in Political Science who is completing his third internship, this time with America250PA!

Throughout the semester, Jonathan will work on press releases and video production while collaborating with the social media team to help coordinate events. He’ll also gain valuable experience with marketing and design strategies aimed at engaging the public as Pennsylvania continues to celebrate America’s 250th birthday.

Beyond the classroom and his internship, Jonathan stays involved by volunteering with Misericordia’s Mission, Ministry, & Service Office.

We’re proud to see our Cougars putting their skills into action and gaining valuable professional experience! 💙💛
