MU Mission, Ministry, & Service The Office for Mission, Ministry, and Service is located in the Banks Student Life Center.

The Office for Mission, Mission and Service at Misericordia University serves the Mission of the University by making visible and effective our Mercy Charisms and Catholic Tradition. We seek to respond to the Critical Concerns of the Sisters of Mercy through advocacy, education and action. We seek to reach out and respect persons of all faith backgrounds and traditions while inviting them to join

us in our mission. We do this by nurturing and celebrating our faith through prayer and liturgies; educating our students in Christian values, morals, leadership and decision making; developing in our students practices of prayer and reflection; fostering a passion for social justice issues that enable our students to be an advocate on behalf of those who are poor and oppressed; empowering students to be leaders in the community and on campus.

Service Trip Spotlight | Brenna Hunt 💙💛

For Brenna Hunt, a service trip became so much more than an opportunity to volunteer—it became a life-changing experience.

Through serving others, Brenna gained a renewed sense of gratitude, strengthened her faith, and learned the importance of leading with compassion. One of the biggest lessons she brought home was that every person deserves to be treated with love and care, regardless of their circumstances.

Stepping outside her comfort zone allowed Brenna to grow in ways she never expected, reminding her that some of life's greatest lessons come from serving others and building meaningful connections.

At Misericordia University, our service trips inspire students to make a difference while discovering more about themselves along the way. We're proud to highlight Brenna as part of our Service Trip Spotlight series.

Taylor Walker discovered more than just a new place during their service trip—they discovered a new perspective.

Through the experience in Benson, Vermont, Taylor embraced the spirit of ecospirituality and found a welcoming, inclusive community that challenged their understanding of religion and spirituality in meaningful ways.

At Misericordia University, service trips encourage students to step outside their comfort zones, build connections, and return with experiences that leave a lasting impact. We're proud to highlight Taylor as part of our Service Spotlight series. 💙💛

Tomasino’s Restaurant is proud to be a partner with Fork Over Love. From 2021 to 2025 we helped produce 3,118 meals.
