Guess who is 9 MONTHS PREGNANT!!?? This girl right here!!

This past week was my last week working in my Pearl Girls and Coach Keisha businesses before taking my Maternity Leave. I supported some AMAZING girls this year, so pausing my sessions was pretty hard to do, but of course it was needed as my hubby and I are preparing for our life as new parents to a sweet baby boy in just a couple of weeks.

Before I go on maternity leave, I wanted to make sure that I thanked some very important people…

THANK YOU to all of the girls who I have coached/counseled over this past year. Thank you for being honest, being real, being transparent, sharing your stories with me, and being open to grow. Thank you for taking steps in positive directions, for choosing friends wisely, for advocating for yourself, for making smart choices online, and for learning from failure. We are all a work in progress. Nobody is prefect, so thank you for being the perfectly imperfect girls you are who are strong, smart, resilient, and who are taking inspired action to be your very best self. You girls rock!

THANK YOU to all of the parents who have trusted me to support their daughters. Thank you for believing that your daughter’s mental health is just as important as her physical health. Thank you for listening to your daughter, for encouraging her to show up & be real in our sessions, for motivating her to take advantage of opportunities to grow, for believing that she “can” instead of thinking that she “can’t”, and for loving them unconditionally (although sometimes providing tough love) as they navigate through this crazy girl-world.

It is my greatest joy and pleasure coaching/counseling girls while providing support to their parents. While I am going on maternity leave, it won’t be the last time that you will hear from me.
