We had so much fun this week playing Tic Tac Toe with our homemade themed boards! Congratulations to our 4th grade winners: Bilal, Brennan, Leo, and Greyson. Congratulations to our 5th grade winners: Elijah, Vanessa, Elizabeth, and Graham!
Tomorrow at our Jagapalooza we will have our ultimate tic Tac toe championship round to see who the top 4th and 5th graders will be!

Culture and Arts Night at Reuben Johnson Elementary was AMAZING! 💃🎨 Thank you to all of our Jaguar families and community members for joining us and making this another one of our favorite events of the school year! Our students worked incredibly hard in the weeks leading up to this event to share what they learned about a particular country’s culture through song, dance, and visual art. A huge shoutout goes to Ms. Peterson and Mrs. Biscarro for bringing their vision to life!

We wrapped up another fantastic week in the gym at RJE in an attempt to help the WSSA set a new Guinness Book of World Record for the “most cup stackers in multiple locations.” Our Jaguars participated in new and exciting games all week long and I am so proud of each and every student for giving 100% effort! Our Jaguars honored Veterans by participating in six different Veterans Day PE Stations! We started off classes with a “Sweat for a Vet” AMRAP warmup and then talked about what the Veterans might experience in the service at each station:
Rock Climbing, Coast Guard Tug, Build It Up, Target Practice (using our new MISD Lacrosse sticks!! WOO HOO!), Quick Feet Agility Ladders, and Army Crawl.
