Today we celebrated the 100th day of school!💯📚 PreK students wore tshirts filled with one hundred of their favorite things. Kindergarten students dressed up like they are one hundred years old. Aren’t they precious?! 🤩🥳

Our pep rally last week was full of cheers, competitions, and school spirit. 📣🏀 Our cheerleaders welcomed in our boys and girls basketball team, and teachers competed with students in free throw challenges. We love our Warriors! ❤️💙

That’s a wrap on 2025 at WDCS!🎉 Our building is officially closed for the holidays. Students will return to school on Tuesday, January 6th. We wish everyone happy holidays with family and friends!❤️💚

Our Pre-K classes took a field trip to the Dallas Arboretum last week. They watched a puppet show about squirrels and enjoyed the “12 Days of Christmas” display. It was so much fun, and the students had a blast!❤️💚

Fourth through eighth grade participated in the annual spelling bee competition on Friday. Congrats to our winner, Faithful!🥇 Her sister and father were there to cheer her on.
When asked how she feels about competing in the county spelling bee in February, she said, “I am excited to give it a try and do my best for God.” We are so proud of you, Faithful! 👏🏼
