🌟 Lead with Inclusion: Assistant Director – Atlanta Chapter (Modest Stipend)
We Can Dance is seeking an Assistant Director to support and co-lead our Atlanta Chapter from January 15 through December 31, 2026. This is a meaningful leadership and learning opportunity for someone passionate about inclusion, accessibility, and community building, and who wants to contribute to a dynamic, mission-driven organization. The Assistant Director will assemble and lead a team of volunteers to help coordinate inclusive dance classes and socials, support volunteer leadership, assist with outreach and promotion, help grow We Can Dance membership, host events, strengthen community partnerships, and contribute to simple progress reporting. This is a flexible opportunity, and work hours and scheduling will be discussed collaboratively to accommodate individual needs. We strongly encourage applications from blind and visually impaired individuals and warmly welcome sighted allies committed to learning and practicing accessible, non-visual approaches to leadership.
Key Skills for Success (4):
• Clear and inclusive communication skills
• Strong interest in dance, movement, or arts-based community programs
• Ability to organize people and activities, including volunteer coordination
• Basic outreach, membership engagement, and social media promotion skills

FREE INCLUSIVE KIZOMBA 6 WEEKS SERIES: We are on it again, and you don’t want to be left out. Whether you’re blind, visually impaired, or sighted — this dance floor is for all of us.
For six unforgettable weeks, we’ll come together to learn Kizomba—a smooth, soulful partner dance that’s all about feeling the beat and trusting your partner.
No experience is needed— no partner needed, everyone is welcome! ( sighted dancers will be blind folded)
