A little interview with our student Macaco Louco 🐒 aka Jacob

Meet him in the roda this weekend at our 20 year celebration and batizado 🥳

Jacob has been a student at Dallas Capoeira for roughly 4 years. Capoeira for Jacob is an extension of his love for physical capability and movement.
Overcoming a major back injury in his early 20’s, Jacob enjoys capoeira as his personal testing ground providing validity of success to his experience of self rehab over the years pulling from Chinese medicine, Shaolin Kungfu, a Bachelors in Kinesiology, a Specialization in Muscle Activation Techniques, wrestling, gymnastics, rockclimbing, Jujitsu, and other paths of kinesthetic practice and education.

Jacob has recently graduated as a massage therapist and occasionally performs stunt work within the Texas film community.
