She is a visionary educator whose leadership helped shape generations of students and transformed Dallas ISD. A true trailblazer, her remarkable career includes serving as:

⭐ Coordinator for Area 5 and Director of Special Projects supporting school improvement
⭐ Senior Planner for the East Oak Cliff Sub-District during court-ordered desegregation, working alongside Dr. Yvonne A. Ewell
⭐ Dallas ISD First Chief of Staff
⭐ First Dean of Instruction in Dallas ISD
⭐ Principal of Harry Stone Middle School
⭐ Area Superintendent and Interim Deputy Superintendent overseeing all Dallas ISD schools
⭐ Deputy Superintendent for Districtwide Instruction and Staff Development
⭐ Executive Director of the Southeast Learning Community

Last week, we proudly welcomed former Stone students from the Class of 2026 who are graduating from high school and/or college! These graduates returned to walk the halls of HSMA one last time during our 2026 Legacy Last Walk, inspiring the next generation of learners with every step.

From the classrooms where their journeys began to the bright futures that await them, we are honored to have been part of their story. Your hard work, perseverance, and achievements make the entire HSMA community proud.
