Congratulations to our 16 students who made the All-City band!

What is All-city?

Students across DISD auditioned for a panel of five judges and were ranked based off their preparation of scales, as well as a technical and lyrical piece of music. The top ranking students were placed into either “Honors Band” or “Symphonic Band”. Not all students who participated made a band, so this is an incredibly high honor & represents the best of DISD! Students who earned a placement in the bands will come together for the Dallas All-City Band in January to perform in concert with a special guest conductor!
