With the Dallas Arts District Pride Block Party falling on June 19th this year, the event is intentionally recognizing the national and historical importance of Juneteeth, the national holiday marking the news of emancipation reaching Galveston, Texas in 1865.

Early voting for the Texas primary runoffs is Monday, May 18 - Friday, May 22. There is no weekend voting. Dallas County voters can vote in any polling place.

With 30+ state and federal races going to a runoff, the May 26 Primary Runoff Election is important. If you are planning to vote (and we know you are), April 27th is the last day to register to be eligible to vote. You can check your registration status in your county or at votetexas.gov
