The UTDallas Neurolab celebrates the 250th birthday of the U.S. Navy and the men and women continuing to serve our country in countless ways. In particular, we honor the legacy of American Indian sailors and veterans on this Indigenous Peoples' Day as well.

As the Naval Historical Foundation notes, over half of all American Indian military members since 2012 have served in the Navy (~13K). There are over 160K Native American Veterans, and their service has proved vital in protecting our freedoms since WWI and WWII. We commemorate their sacrifices, and the histories of all Indigenous people today and every day.
