The Women & LGBT Center empowers students to increase awareness and understanding of gender equity issues. The Women & LGBT Center gives voice for women and the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender community, with purpose to eliminate barriers, diminish prejudices, and create a supportive climate and space for all. As a center, we provide empowering spaces for students to develop as leaders through purposeful learning, educational, and advocacy opportunities.

Pride Visibility Day is TOMORROW!!!!! Come to the Hughes-Trigg Student Center Lower Level 5:30-8pm for a clothing swap, hair and makeup with Glam Haus Collective, testing with Prism Health NTX, free coffee and food, a community partner resource fair, polaroid photos, and being in community! Completely free and open to ALL!

Join the Women & LGBT Center in supporting The Shop at SMU! The Shop is our on-campus food pantry, supporting students and nourishing success at SMU.
There is a donation bin at the front desk of the WLGBTC this week, we will have a donation bin at the Women's Symposium check-in, and you can donate via the Shop's Amazon wishlist (link in bio). Check out the 2nd photo for a list of the most needed items.

Join the Center for Presidential History, WGST, and Dedman Interdisciplinary Institute for this special event next week on February 19th at 6pm in Dallas Hall McCord Auditorium. Historian Dr. Paul Renfro tells the story of Ryan White, and how his life, death, and legacy can help us understand both the HIV/AIDS epidemic of the 1980s and the political and cultural consequences up through today.
