Dear DIMA Families
Warm greetings to all of you as we enter the holiday season. This time of year always highlights the strength of our community. Our students continue to show remarkable dedication and heart in their work. Families provide steady encouragement and support, and our teachers bring skill, care, and passion to every lesson. The spirit of DIMA comes from each of you, and there is deep gratitude for everything you bring to our school.
There is also exciting news to share. A select group of DIMA students will be prepared to perform at Carnegie Hall during the 2026 to 2027 concert season. This is a rare opportunity that reflects the high level of work our young artists continue to achieve. Selection will be based on yearly progress, participation in masterclasses, achievement throughout the program, recital performance, and teacher evaluation. Additional details will be shared as the season approaches.
Please remember to review the recital dates on your calendar. Just as last year, extra time will be set aside after each recital for students to relax, celebrate, and enjoy time with their friends and families. These moments give students a chance to unwind after their performance and strengthen the sense of community we value so much.
As Thanksgiving approaches, wishing every family a peaceful and joyful holiday. Your questions, thoughts, and feedback always matter, so please feel free to reach out at any time at [email protected].
Looking forward to seeing everyone at the recitals and celebrating each milestone our students reach.
With gratitude,
Dr. Elida Dakoli
