From opening ceremonies to the final whistle, our World Cup Field Day was a win. Students rotated through events, cheered for their “countries,” and celebrated a day of friendly competition and big smiles. A HUGE thank you goes out to Julianne Folk for organizing and dreaming up an unprecedented event under the constraints of construction! We would also like to recognize Kevin Barnicle for all his efforts in making the plans come to life. Bravo! 👏 🇺🇸🌎⚽️

Oh the places you’ll go! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for these Spartans! 💚
As we embark upon our first days of summer break, we must not forget the memories of our graduating class of 2026. One of our most beautiful and beloved traditions at St. Rita is our Baccalaureate Mass for our 8th-graders. Each year Fr. Josh shares words of wisdom as they gather around the altar for the last time as a class. The celebration includes testimonials from two 8th-grade students and a presentation of The Spartan Way Awards. Please join us in congratulating the following students- Nicholas M. was presented with the Saint Pier Giorgio Frassati award for kindness, Owen P. was presented with the St. Teresa of Calcutta award for compassion, Eliana A. was presented with the St. John Paul II award for gentleness, Charles D. was presented with the St. Therese of Lisieux award for humility, and Benjamin W. was presented with the St. Julie Billiart award for thankfulness. We are so proud of our students and will continue to pray for the St. Rita Class of 2026 as they move on from our hallways! Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan!

We are thrilled to share that our very own Facilities Operations Director, Steve Niles, was honored on Friday with the Work of Heart Award from The Catholic Foundation!
This award recognizes outstanding full-time employees in the diocese who demonstrate exemplary leadership and Christ-like service. If you have spent any time on our campus, you already know that Steve is absolutely terrific. He works tirelessly behind the scenes every single day to keep everything running smoothly.
This past year, Steve has gone above and beyond. On top of his massive daily responsibilities, he has expertly and gracefully navigated all the moving parts, logistics, and unique challenges that come with major campus construction. His dedication ensures that our community remains a safe, welcoming, and vibrant place to gather, even amidst the heavy machinery and hard hats.
Please join us in thanking Steve for his hard work, patience, and excellent leadership. We are so incredibly blessed to have him on our team. Congratulations, Steve!

Welcome to Texas, y’all! Our 4th graders hosted a Living History Museum where families “traveled” to NASA, the State Fair, Mission San Jose, and more—collecting passport stickers along the way. Big smiles, big learning, big fun in the Lone Star State!
