This child is forever bringing something home to grow.

For those of you who struggle to offer appropriate apologies, here is a great example. For those who have received “apologies” that began with, “I’m sorry you feel this way…”, know those were not true apologies. Those were weak attempts at making the speaker feel better about their bad behavior. People who give poor apologies don’t take responsibility for their behavior and will offend again.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer apologized to victims of Jeffrey Epstein for appointing Peter Mandelson as the U.K.'s ambassador to Washington despite his ties to the disgraced financier.

Starmer appointed Mandelson, a veteran politician, as ambassador to the U.S. in 2024. The prime minister fired him in September after emails were published showing that he maintained a friendship with Epstein following the late financier’s 2008 conviction for s*x offenses involving a minor.

Starmer never met Epstein and is not accused of any wrongdoing, but the prime minister is under intense pressure over the appointment after newly released documents revealed fresh details of Mandelson’s close relationship with Epstein. https://abcnews.visitlink.me/tiJSvb

We do what we can until we know to do better.

the theory is simple:
every time your life asks you to begin again - in your creativity, your marriage, your career, your identity it isn’t proof that you “failed.”
it’s proof that your soul is evolving faster than your old life can hold.

starting over doesn t mean you lost the plot.
it means you outgrew it.
no one tells you this part.
no one tells you that the version of you who walked away wasn’t the quitter - she was the one brave enough to say,
“this chapter has nothing left for me, and i’m willing to bet my life on the next one.”

no one tells you how terrifying it feels when the familiarity collapses.
how naked it feels to not know what comes after the ending.
how lonely it can be to reinvent when everyone else thinks they already know who you are.
but here’s what the starting over theory teaches:

your biggest breakthroughs don’t happen in the chapter that’s working.
they happen in the space between the collapse and the rebirth...
the blank page, the quiet room, the moment your ego whispers “don’t do it” and your intuition says “go.”
starting over is spiritual. it’s identity alchemy.

It’s dismantling the version of you who survived
so you can become the version of you who thrives.
so if you’re in your starting over era - if something ended, if a door closed, if you’re grieving a life you thought you wanted -
I hope you remember this:
✅Your new timeline needs permission
✅ your new identity needs to believe
✅ she exist before anyone else recognizes her. And she does exist she’s already walking towards you.

Starting over isn’t easy, but it may be necessary to get where you need to be next… physically, emotionally, spiritually…

Most of us have that “one thing” we hope never walks into the room with us. A story, a mistake, an entanglement, a shame script that makes your stomach drop when you imagine it exposed. So you tuck it behind your ribs like contraband and try to pretend even God cannot see it.

The enemy of your becoming is not the past itself. It is the silence you have built around it. When you begin to tell the truth about the thing you are terrified someone will find out, it starts to lose its supernatural power. It becomes what it truly is, something you lived through, something you learned from, not something that gets to run your life for the rest of your life.

📖 Scripture Reference
Psalm 103:12

Key Takeaways
	•	Everyone carries a story that feels too heavy to tell. You are not alone in that.
	•	Secrecy cannot protect your heart. It only keeps you caged.
	•	Truth-telling loosens the grip of shame and dismantles false power.
	•	God’s grace reaches farther than your worst memory or deepest regret.
	•	Naming your truth before God and a trusted soul is an act of courage and freedom.

🧘🏽‍♀️ Pause Prompt
What is the secret you have been treating as if it holds the deed to your freedom? Where might God be inviting you to tell the truth so that grace can breathe?

✍🏽 Let’s Reflect Together
You do not have to name the story in the comments. Simply share a word you are praying over today: courage, honesty, release, healing, or grace.
