Have you ever observed your pup and wondered, "What goes on in their mind?"
While we may find amusement in our pets' behaviors, such actions are not necessarily random or just for our entertainment. One typical behavior in dogs is the persistent pursuit of their own tails. While this can be a source of laughter and enjoyment for both us and our pets, the motivation behind a dog chasing its tail might be rooted in a meaningful cause or could indicate an underlying concern, often behavioral issues.
I love this parallel as it pertains to us humans. Doing the same thing, over and over, but doesn't really help us improve our lives.
Food for thought today.
Step outside your own shoes and evaluate what behaviors you might be doing that seem as silly as the dog chasing its tail. And, more importantly, how can you change those behaviors?

I find myself saying “I have a lot on my plate right now.” I say this often.
It’s important to continually reevaluate what you’re doing, clearly define your goals, and do what you can to move towards those goals.
And, believe me, I get it. Life will get in the way. But you can’t give up on those goals or yourself.
Reply with your goals! Shout them out, verbalize them, declare them. Where are you at now?

So many people ask me “where have you been all summer?”
I thought that was my destiny: NURSE. I care deeply about people, my work, and all the responsibilities. At the drop of a dime, I would run in when we were short staffed. I worked hard. I put a smile on my face. I wouldn’t p*e or eat for up to 16 hours. I was yelled at, by patients and my coworkers. I was a source of gossip at times. But I had a job to do and I did it well.
When I needed the support in return, they let me go. This nurse was just another number.
Life has been throwing me curveballs over the past few years and I just pivot and roll with the punches. I want to live a better, more fulfilling life. For me and for my kids. Period.
So I’m taking in all the knowledge I can get. I’m putting myself out there. I’m learning new skills and building incredible resilience. I want to build myself up and help others face adversity and overcome challenges too. Because if I can do this, anyone can.
Digital and affiliate marketing gives ANYONE the opportunity to build a life they can be proud of. I’m living a completely different life than I was at the beginning of 2023.
