Our goal is to give your child the opportunity to realize their potential as a creative human being

Kid Art Dallas has been in continuous operation serving thousands of Dallas' young artists for over 20 years. Our classes are kept small to give each child more individual attention. We teach the skills required to draw, paint, sculpt, and work in mixed and 3D media, but along the way we also teach art appreciation and history, socialization, focus, and communication skills.

KiD ART owner and principal teacher Tori Pendergrass recently sat down with Joseph Williams of the “Successfully Dyslexic” podcast to share her personal journey — and how her diagnosis ultimately led her to discover and embrace her creative gifts.

Her story is a powerful reminder that dyslexic minds experience and process the world differently — and that traditional education doesn’t always recognize these strengths. When nurtured early, neurodiversity can unlock confidence, possibility, and opportunity… even shaping the path to entrepreneurship.

If you or someone you love is dyslexic, this conversation is both moving and deeply encouraging — offering a fresh perspective on learning differences and a reminder that being neurodivergent isn’t a limitation, it can be a true superpower. Link in bio or http://bit.ly/4c8vT3m

✨ Announcing a new class ✨ In this hands-on metalsmithing session, adults and teens will create elegant stacking rings in sterling silver.

Along the way, you’ll learn foundational techniques including sizing, forming, texturing, and soldering — all in a fun, casual environment designed to build confidence and spark creativity.

Led by professional jewelry designer, metalsmith, and Therapeutic Arts Practitioner, Jen Land of Shine Metalsmith & Jewelry Design, this workshop is as much about self-expression as it is about technique. You’ll leave not only with a beautiful, ring — but with the skills (and inspiration) to keep creating, because making something with your hands isn’t just creative—it’s essential! 💫

Sign up at www.shinemetalsmith.com. Tag a friend you want to join you.
