Fall semester is right around the corner! An art degree can lead to more possibilities than many people realize.
Beginning at Gaston College gives students an affordable and supportive place to build foundational skills, explore different studio media, and discover their direction. Small classes and hands-on instruction allow students to work closely with faculty while developing a portfolio and preparing for transfer or a creative career.
Studying art is also about developing transferable skills. Art students learn to think creatively, solve problems, communicate visually, manage projects, collaborate, adapt, and respond to feedback. These abilities are valuable in creative careers and many other professions.

We love ending the semester with screen printing student’s beautiful designs onto t-shirts! Thank you to all who attended the reception today for the Student Juried Exhibition! and especially to our gallery director and printing making instructor for making it all possible!

TOMORROW! Come celebrate the end of school year and the artwork made by you and your peers! Friends and family are welcome.
We will have refreshments and award presentations with this years judge Andrew Davis.
Following awards we will be screen printing!! So bring a light colored tee! We have two design to pick from or you can get both!
