You may be thinking, “Why should I fill out the Free and Reduced Price Meals application?” You could be eligible for many great benefits and resources for your child. Grand Prairie ISD would like to dispel another myth about free and reduced-price meals. Hear what GPISD students have to say about the Free and Reduced Price meal application.

🚨 As a reminder, this application must be renewed every school year, or benefits will stop after 30 days of the school year. Also, students not participating in the free and reduced-price meal program will be required to pay for meals.�
We encourage all GPISD families to submit an application even if you think you may not qualify. To apply now and/or check the status of your application, visit http://www.gpisd.org/freemeals. The Grand Prairie Independent School District is pleased to announce that it has improved to a B rating from the Texas Education Agency, which has just released the 2025-26 Accountability Ratings for schools and districts.
