Next up in our Senior Spotlight series is Xena Raies. Xena joined us at DIS in the 9th grade is now a graduating senior in our international program. This fall, Xena will be studying Cell and Molecular Biology at Northeastern University - London. Congratulations, Xena!

Today, DIS 4th-grade/CM1 students participated in a cross-curricular, multidisciplinary activity where they were asked to develop a product and a store for students in other grades to patronize. Through this activity, CM1 students learned all about business techniques, the concepts of money and personal finance in real-life scenarios, and advertising and persuasion.

Continuing with our Senior Spotlight series, our next spotlight is on Alexander Fisher. Alex has been a student at DIS since GS/Mat 3 and is now a graduating senior in our international program. Alex will be attending the Naveen Jindal School of Management at the University of Texas at Dallas this fall to study Finance. Félicitations Alex !

Our next Senior Spotlight is on Lina Assuied. Lina has been a student at DIS since the 3rd grade/CE2 and is now a graduating senior in our French program. Her fondest memory at DIS is the 8th-grade field trip to Washington, DC. This fall, Lina will be studying Business at Indiana University. Congratulations, Lina!

Next up in our Senior Spotlight series is Madeleine Nguyen. Madeleine came to DIS way back in MS/Pre-K4 and is now a graduating senior in our French program. Her favorite memories at DIS come from making friends throughout her years with us. This fall, Madeleine will be studying Biomedical Sciences through an academic excellence scholarship at the University of Texas at Dallas. Bravo Madeleine !

Coming up next in our Senior Spotlight series is Parineeta Bhargaw. Parineeta joined us at DIS in the 11th grade and is now a graduating senior in our international program. Her favorite memories at DIS have been hanging out with her friends in and out of class. This fall, Parineeta will be attending the University of California San Diego, where she will be studying Molecular and Cell Biology. Congratulations, Parineeta!

Dia's favorite memories at DIS include the DECA state competition and the DIS field trip to Hollywood, CA. Dia will be attending McGill University this fall to study International Relations. At this year’s One Night in Bangkok Gala, DIS celebrated a very special evening of community while recognizing this year’s Country of the Year, Thailand. Parents, guardians, staff and faculty arrived at 34 Events in Plano, TX, dressed to impress and ready to enjoy a night of music, dancing, food and fellowship. We would like to thank the DIS PTO, our Development department and all the volunteers who contributed to make this event a success!

This past Friday, we welcomed the community to our Churchill Campus for the annual DIS Talent Show. Students, staff and faculty took the stage to show off their singing, dancing, acting and instrumental music talents. We thank everyone who participated this year and all the parents and guardians who joined us for an exciting night of music, dance and camaraderie.
