The student-centered curriculum focuses on differentiation, multi-sensory experiences, executive function development, and intervention for individualized learning needs. Our library classes had a wonderful time exploring the world of graphic novels during a fun and engaging “Book Tasting” with Chef Mrs. DeAndrea!

Option 1- Students sampled a variety of graphic novels while discovering different genres and sub-genres throughout the library. This creative lesson gave students—especially those who may be hesitant readers—a fun, low-pressure opportunity to explore, discover new stories, and find books that spark their interest.

Option 2- Students were invited to explore the exciting world of graphic novels and discover the different genres and sub-genres found within this popular format. Rather than simply choosing a book from the shelf, students had the opportunity to “sample” a variety of books, browse new sections of the library, and discover stories that sparked their curiosity.
What better way to encourage lifelong readers than by making reading an adventure, an exploration, and a little bit of fun!

A special thank-you to our amazing librarian, Mrs. DeAndrea, for creating such a welcoming and meaningful experience that encourages our students to explore, read, and fall in love with books!

Fairhill School's graduation ceremony was a heartfelt celebration filled with reflection, laughter, inspiration, and pride as family, friends, faculty, and staff gathered to honor the Class of 2026.

The ceremony marked the culmination of years of hard work, perseverance, growth, and friendship for a remarkable group of students who have left a lasting impact on the Fairhill community. Throughout the afternoon, speakers reflected on the connections formed, challenges overcome, and bright futures awaiting the graduates as they crossed the stage and prepared to embark on their next chapter.
