The 2026–2027 Levine Fund launches TODAY and every gift can make twice the impact!

Each year, the Levine Fund provides essential support for the people and programs that help Levine Academy thrive. Gifts directly benefit students and teachers through Tuition Assistance, Jewish Studies, STEM, Athletics, Security, and more.

K–8 Shabbat was filled with music, tradition, and some friendly shofar competition!

Students brought plenty of energy to a lively shofar contest, with Second Grader Rebecca R. winning the Lower School competition and Fifth Grader Matan T. taking the win for Middle School! The Levine community also welcomed Yoni Battat, a Mizrahi musician whose music draws on Jewish-Arab traditions and his Iraqi Jewish heritage. Through music, students and families experienced another expression of Jewish culture and tradition together.

Supported in part by an Impact Grant from the Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas, this Shabbat experience grew out of Levine Academy’s close partnership with Congregation Anshai Torah.

Meet our new faculty!

We are delighted to welcome Ava Kirkendall to our Kindergarten team! A familiar face around campus, Ava has spent the last three years substitute teaching and serving as a counselor at our summer camp.

She has a deep love for working with children and brings a wonderful energy to the
classroom. Outside of school, Ava is a talented athlete and artist.

She began painting at the age of four and later competed in swimming, cross country and track & field, and served as the varsity tennis team captain at Prosper High School.

In college, Ava served as an executive board member for Club Tennis Team at the
University of Arkansas where she recently graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice with a minor in Sociology.

We are thrilled to have Ava supporting our division’s youngest learners as a
Kindergarten Teacher’s Aide, as well as coaching track & field.

EC was ready for its close-up!

Today was Picture Day in Early Childhood, and students brought their personalities—and plenty of Picture Day smiles—in front of the camera.

From tiny grins to picture-perfect poses, it was a sweet day capturing the faces that make EC such a happy place to learn and grow.

Recently in Megan Copulsky’s STEM class, Sixth Grade students furthered their understanding of cells and the differences between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells by putting their microscope skills to work.

The 6th graders examined specimens including plant stems, seeds, fish skin, tongue, large intestine, earthworm, and more. They searched for cells, determined whether specimens were living, nonliving, or once living, and drew and labeled their observations.

Through careful examination and analysis, students turned what they saw under the microscope into a deeper understanding of the cellular world. 🔬
