Join us March 30th from 3:30-4:30 in Acers Conference Room in the Hegi Family Career Development Center as we welcome two senior investment management executives for an hour-long conversation about careers and opportunities in the investment management industry. Our panel will address the skills required for success in the investment business as well as the multiple and varied paths to success. Our guests will share insights and knowledge gained from their extensive experience in the field. They will discuss how individuals with or without a business degree can enter and succeed in the investment management industry and share their thoughts on the skills and attributes necessary for success in the industry. This event will be open to all majors because the skills required for success can be learned through so many different disciplines and academic programs at SMU. Both panelists are parents of SMU students and look forward to helping you further explore your career path.

The panel will discuss women’s identity in the working world. Economics with Finance Applications as well as minors in Spanish and Statistical Science , Ana Paula will be interning with Deloitte as a Risk and Financial Advisory Summer Analyst in their Controls, Compliance, and Finance Department and then return to SMU to pursue a Master's of Science in Accounting.
